It was a Chihuahua that kept running just in front of a medium sized child until the child quit and turned around. The child seemed to go back home and the dog kept sniffing around. I guess it slipped out the door of the house again. Later it likely returned when it got hungry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chihuahua_(dog)
