Desk Chair

Here I sit again at my computer.
I look forward to another day online.

I noticed another silent servant that makes this possible.
Under my bottom is a desk chair.
Over the decades there have been many different ones.
This one is plain and hard.
I prefer the ones with soft seats.

But without a desk chair, what would I do?
Would I sit on the floor?
Would I stand?
Would I sit in bed?
